Our Story

BRT Pet Foods is a division of BRT Distributing which has been active in the pet foodindustry since 1976. In 1984 we began production of our own home kibble brands, Profile and Diet Rich.

Around 2012, we started to learn the benefits of feeding pets raw and began sourcing raw to make our own blends. As most of our raw products come from within Canada, we also saw a demand for products like Kangaroo and Cod that we source from Iceland and Australia. All our blends are 100 % Canadian made, on site, at our manufacturing facility in Keene, Ontario.

In recent years, we have introduced a line dehydrated dog treats. Products like sweet potato, beef liver and cod skins are a great addition to your dog’s diet that provide many nutritional benefits.

The key to our success over these years has been to change along with the evolution of pet food. Today, BRT Pet Foods is a third-generation family-owned business.
